Amazon will reduce percentage-based selling fees for many categories in 2026 and extend the reduced FBA costs for low-priced products under €20. Larger FBA products will also see on average €0.32 lower parcel fees per unit. However, storage, return, and liquidation fees will increase at the same time. The changes will take effect from December 15, 2025 and February 1, 2026.

What do sellers need to consider?

  • Take advantage of benefits for larger FBA products: Thanks to average parcel fees being €0.32 lower, larger products can become more profitable in 2026. It’s advisable to recalculate your margins and specifically promote items that can boost their conversion thanks to the reduced fees.

  • Specifically strengthen your low-price range: In addition to reduced FBA fees, many categories with products under €10 or €20 also benefit from significantly lower seller commissions. Amazon is visibly promoting these segments to compete with providers such as Temu and Shein. It is recommended to expand suitable low-price items and target campaigns at high-volume, low-cost products to secure market share.

  • Pay attention to rising storage and return fees: As Amazon will increase these costs in 2026, efficient inventory management becomes even more important. It’s advisable to forecast sales quantities more precisely, reduce slow-moving SKUs, and consistently optimize products that drive returns. This will help keep margins stable despite the fee increases.
