Amazon has expanded the Multi-Channel Fulfillment App (MCF) for Shopify to Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Canada. Sellers can now use their existing Amazon FBA inventory directly for Shopify orders—without additional shipping infrastructure. The app is free of charge and can be set up in just a few clicks, no programming skills required. Product catalog, orders, and tracking are all managed directly through Shopify. All MCF orders are automatically shipped in unbranded packaging at no extra cost. In the coming months, the app will be rolled out to additional countries.

What do sellers need to consider?

  • Connect your Shopify store with Amazon inventory: If you operate a Shopify store and already use FBA, you can now use your existing inventory for Shopify orders as well. Setup is code-free through the Shopify App Store—a unified inventory for all channels reduces workload and prevents overselling.

  • Factor in unbranded packaging: MCF shipments are sent without Amazon branding by default, ensuring consistent brand presentation in your own store. Sellers should check if custom packaging solutions or branded inserts make sense, as Amazon-branded packaging is not possible.

  • Optimize scaling and SKU management: With improved SKU management, large product catalogs can be efficiently managed across channels. If you plan to expand your range to other marketplaces or your own shop, you should set up the MCF app early to leverage Amazon’s fulfillment network as demand grows.
