eBay Germany has announced changes to selling fees effective July 2026. Various categories and fee models applicable to business sellers on eBay.de will be affected.

The adjustments include percentage-based selling fees in selected product categories, as well as changes to minimum and maximum fees. Sellers should update their calculations accordingly to proactively assess the impact on their margins.

The new fees will take effect as of July 2026 and apply to all business sellers on eBay.de. A detailed overview of the affected categories and fee rates can be found in eBay’s official seller portal.

What should sellers keep in mind?

  • Updated fee rates per category: eBay is adjusting the percentage selling fees in several categories. The exact rates vary depending on the product segment, so it’s recommended to directly compare the old and new fee tables in the seller portal to precisely identify affected listings.

  • Keep an eye on minimum and maximum fees: In addition to percentage rates, the absolute minimum and maximum fees may also change. Especially for low-priced items, a higher minimum fee can noticeably impact margins, while high-value items may benefit from a fee cap.

  • Adjust prices and listings in time: Since the changes become effective in July 2026, affected SKUs should be reviewed for profitability now. Items that are no longer profitable under the new fees can be repriced, paused, or shifted to other channels.
