Amazon is increasing the FBA fuel and logistics surcharge on shipping fees from the current 1.5% to 2%. The change takes effect on November 2, 2026 for FBA shipments in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium.

For Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), the increase comes into effect a little later: starting on November 19, 2026 for DE, FR, IT, ES, and UK. On average, this means about €0.02 more per unit, depending on the item’s size and dimensions. The surcharge will continue to be applied to the shipping fees, not the selling price.

What should sellers keep in mind?

  • Specific impact on the shipping fee: The surcharge is added as a percentage to the standard FBA shipping fee. For example, if the shipping fee is €3.50, the surcharge increases from €0.0525 (1.5%) to €0.07 (2%). That’s about €0.02 more per unit. With high volume, it adds up: for 10,000 units per month, that equals around €175 in additional costs in this example.

  • Different key dates depending on the fulfillment model: FBA is affected starting November 2, 2026, while Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) is only affected starting November 19, 2026. For MCF, Amazon lists only DE, FR, IT, ES, and UK—not PL, SE, NL, IE, and BE.

  • Check calculations in Seller Central now: Your profit analysis, revenue calculator, and the “fee and profitability preview” already account for the new surcharge. Sellers should double-check their best-selling ASINs there and, for tight margins, review whether adjusting prices or switching certain SKUs to FBM would be more cost-effective.
