For cross-border orders shipped by the seller, new return policies will apply as of August 11: For items over €25 (or £20), a return option must be provided no later than three calendar days after the return request — otherwise, an automatic refund will be charged to the seller’s account.
What do sellers need to know?
Set up return options: Return settings should be checked and, if necessary, adjusted, such as domestic address, international label, or refund without return (Settings → Return settings).
Response time shortened: Responses to return requests must now be made within 3 instead of 4 calendar days.
Activate own shipping accounts: If you have DHL Connect or DPD set up, you will benefit from automatically generated return labels at your own rates instead of expensive Amazon standard rates as of August 11. (Settings/Information about the seller account/Shipping and returns/Settings for “Buy shipping fee”/Click “Cancel”/On the right: “Manage carrier accounts” and “Merchant Fulfilled Shipping” API).
