From June 25, 2025, sellers who wish to participate in Amazon’s Pan-European Fulfilment Program will also be required to offer new products on the Dutch marketplace. This change initially applies only to newly registered products; existing listings will follow later this year. In addition to Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, the Netherlands will become the fifth mandatory country for Pan-EU. Sellers especially benefit from the Pan-EU program through lower shipping costs and easier distribution of goods between marketplaces.
What do sellers need to consider?
Activate listings on the Dutch marketplace: New products must be activated on the Dutch marketplace by June 25, and existing listings should follow as soon as possible to take full advantage of the Pan-EU program.
Check tax requirements: The tax implications as well as OSS registration should be clarified promptly with your tax advisor.
Check Pan-EU participation: Sellers who have not yet used the program should check whether listing in all five countries is worthwhile and whether storage is possible in at least two Pan-EU countries in order to benefit from low shipping costs and other program advantages.
